In August, @peertube entered a new stage in the development of #PeerTube v3. The objective is to raise €60k so they can implement, (1) global search, (2) moderation, (3) plugins & playlists, and (4) live streaming, here's the roadmap: https://joinpeertube.org/roadmap/.
They already raised €37k which covers steps (1) and (2) and we're almost there for step (3) which is €40k.

One of my favourite apps Pl@ntNet is asking for donations to continue operations. It's very very simple, yet extremely useful: you go for a walk, see an interesting plant/flower, make photo and it tells you what it is. Without ads!
If they're doing it in DNA testing labs I can't even imagine what kind of monstrous conspiracies are, ahem... conceived in sperm banks!

Possibly but there are no alternatives in the EU which I would certainly prefer - EU shot itself in the foot with all the idiotic GMO scare I'm afraid and killed all business that barely mentions "DNA"...
I just wrote to @dump_stack privately that the best cure from nationalism is DNA analysis (like MyHeritage, 23andme). Especially in case of Eastern Europe, where masses of humans were flowing here and there for centuries -- and that's great from evolutionary point of view :)

The primary added value Dugin brought to Russian politics was a simple absolution. It goes like that (this is my paraphrase):
> They (the West) tell us we're corrupt and brutal, and we all time fail to improve? Great, because our corruption and brutality is actually our advantage and it's the sacred Russian way of life. We don't need to fix anything: we need more of this - being emotional, capricious, subject to whims.
In your circle, maybe.
Dugin belongs to a specific fraction of Russian nationalist politics among people like Leonid Ivashov, Dmitry Rogozin, Konstantin Malofeev, Igor Prigozhin.
All of them represent the same "geopolitical" and "Eurasian" line of politics.
I personally consider all of them "weirdos" due to their political views which I consider detached from reality, nonetheless all of them do have influence on modern Russian politics.
Yes, I saw it but he *is* mentioned. Even if they don't treat him seriously *today*, his ideas have influenced them.
All these concepts were brought to the mainstream politics in Russia by Dugin in 90's:
* anti-liberalism
* Eurasiatic empire from Dublin to Vladivostok* rotting, immoral West Europe
* sacred Russia and East
* Ukraine has no own identity nor language
* "Finlandization" of Europe
