@davidoclubb We usually do caves in Powys valley, and when the weather is too nice to go underground I usually Pen-y-Fan loop :)
100% agree, for my dad I installed Ubuntu and it "just works" while Manjaro is much better for a developer/admin.
P.S. Cymru am byth! I'm caving and hiking in South Wales frequently 😀

@kmic Polish Catholicism is very much focused on rituals and very little on their actual meaning. Most people in churches will just mechanically mumble "as we forgive those who trespass against us" while at the same time thinking about all the horrible ways they're going to revenge on their trespassers 😂
The latter I believe simply means how much one agrees with specific postulates of Christian ethics, and those where most Poles will *not* comply are easy to pinpoint: forgiving your enemy, being merciful, hospitality to strangers and foreigners, being tolerant to people with different worldviews, preferring spiritual wealth over material.

As a diehard Ubuntu user for years I've just been using Manjaro with Sway on my Pinebook for a few weeks now and I must say I love all three!
I've read his "Companion" book and the adjective he is using most frequently to describe Marx's reasoning is "cryptic" - which obviously is no obstacle to inventing creative modern reinterpretations to something that otherwise would have to be honestly described as plain BS 😃

reCAPTCHA is one of many "free" systems that are seemingly helpful and innocent, but are actually part of the #Google data-collection ecosphere.
If you are a #website / app #developer, consider using tools & APIs that do not collect user & system information.
If you must use a particular system that integrates with reCAPTCHA or similar, please provide them feedback that you would like alternatives to Google services.
Users, choose to solicit sites that value your #privacy and user data.
#Garmin investors concerned about the recent ransomware-related price drop should be aware of the fact that it happened in the first place because in the past they were likely concerned about increase in infosec-related spending 😂

There are different psychoactive substances and different groups of users, but the most devastating impact the former have on the latter is indeed seen when coupled with purely social and economic issues, inequality, lack of economic safety etc. This is the same in post-Soviet and UK post-industrial towns, same for opiates, inhalants, alcohol.
