Yes, he is selling a book here. I can't vouch for all his statements but at least these two I quoted are based on solid research which I have just been looking at recently. This single table is sufficient on its own to demonstrate the primary problem with renewable energy sources: they are incredibly intensive on natural resources, especially land surface.

Jeeeesus I just did a basic comparison of these features with the MacBook Pro (2019). Assuming that a comparison between the AMD Ryzen 9 3900x and the Intel i9 (??) CPU would be fair, and keeping all other specs sort of the same, the MacBook Pro costs about double the price of this build.

There are other types of nuclear reactors that produce a lot less radioactive waste. Check the Molten salt reactor (MSR) for example and the related technologies:

So in Germany everyone was freaking out about even a possibility of building a deep geologic repository for nuclear waste... except they already have two of them storing mercury, arsenic and cyanide waste, and nobody cares.

And they're right not to care, because it's done safely. It's just silly to freak out about a decaying waste while not freaking about about a non-decaying one...
