I guess the best you can draw from such comparisons is convergence - just "steal" the good ideas and migrate them into other platforms.
Android has strong app confinement? Cool, let's implement it on desktop/server Linux and BSD boxes too.
Windows has strong system integrity protection (this is actually much better than any other OS)? Cool, let's implement something like that on Android, Linux, BSD etc.
It depends how you *exactly* formulate the question. Fully hardened and up-to-date instance of Windows vs Linux? An average instance as given out to a regular irresponsible user? Desktop? Server? Mobile? These comparisons without specific context are idiotic and nothing more than a popular dick contest.
As for Android, it certainly has much better application confinement than typical Linux deb/rpm apps, Linux only catches up with Snaps/Flatpak/systemd now.

How do you open this in desktop Riot client? 🤔
That's exactly the point :)
"The most famous person from that country" or something like that
Just started watching crime series. Started with no dialogues at all but then first dialogue was spoken - in English dubbing - saying "911 what is your emergency". At the same time subtitles show "112" which is the correct version as it's a Finnish film and in EU it's all 112.
Comes out the dubbing is not only translated but also adapted for US, so watching films with dubbing is just like flying to Tehran and then dining exclusively at McDonald's...
@supernova That was my thinking too but log doesn't really help - it will be usually in the range 3-5 so with R0 in the range of 0.3-3 it still goes wrong eventually.
You can publish such websites into IPFS and DAT too, I will be soon posting a tutorial as I've just finished migration of mine :)
That's precisely what I'm worried about - the primary postulate of #communism was eradication of bourgeoisie as a class. In 30's it was enough to own more than one cow to classify as bourgeois, you know ;) Granted that probably 100% people here own a computer (=means of production) it seems like we are all bourgeois in the Marxian sense!
Maya Plisetskaya (1925-2015), famous Soviet dancer:
"Communism was worse than fascism. I regret this poor country, which never had opportunity for a decent life. Even animals fully reshape, and communists all the time tried to transform people into animals. As result they turned people into slaves. The system was cemented by fear."
Her father was executed in 1937 as "enemy of the people" and mother was sent to a labour camp in Kazakhstan for 8 years.
«Коммунизм хуже фашизма. Я жалею эту несчастную страну, в которой никогда хорошо не жилось. Даже животных переделать нельзя, а коммунисты все время старались сделать животных из людей. В результате превратили людей в рабов. Цементом системы был страх».

When I needed to buy DAI in the past I was using CoinBase or Uphold using a debit card. The primary gain here is that you use your debit card once with one company rather than copying/typing the details each time you buy something worth a few dollars, and then worrying those idiots will lose your card details in a data breach :) I wish more companies accepted DAI as it's so easy to use.
I have some DAI savings which I keep in https://oasis.app/save which a DAI deposit account with interest. When I need to buy something for DAI I move the needed amount to my "current" wallet that sits in my web browser with https://metamask.io/ add-on and pay for the goods from there.

In case of physical goods you usually need *two* sets of personal data: one for payment (billing address) and one for delivery. As I run a limited company these two are different in my case, which means lots of copy & paste on every purchase.
With DAI the payment is one click, so for physical goods you just need to give them delivery address. For digital goods/services the seller needs nothing else, just the payment.
