@skobkin Жалеть не надо, 12 по быстрее в мноих запросах и имеет JIT. Вакюмить конечно надо, а главное - установить autovacuum

@aktivismoEstasMiaLuo @Br0m3x @strypey

Yes, same in the UK. No skulls and skeletons but real-life photos of lung cancer etc.

@aktivismoEstasMiaLuo @strypey @Br0m3x

Makes perfect sense. I don't know *any* adults who would read Playboy but every single male teen of my age was reading it as soon as we reached puberty 😂

@aktivismoEstasMiaLuo @Br0m3x @strypey

Wow, that's really silly especially granted all the "morality" restrictions still present in US. In most European countries you won't find *any* tobacco-related products anywhere in the public and even in shops it's being sold from separate counters with covered display. Also the branding is largely masqueraded so a "Marlboro" box is a generic white box with "Marlboro" written on it but no cowboys etc.

@aktivismoEstasMiaLuo @Br0m3x @strypey

Ok, but I just wanted to understand the US specifics as you mentioned ads *and* free speech specifically

@aktivismoEstasMiaLuo @strypey @Br0m3x

Aren't tobacco ads banned in the US? I think they're banned in most of the world by now, and US free speech does seem to have a number of exceptions too.

Starting a new service and considering ? It's a good practice to go IPv6 for a number of reasons:1) IPv4 is exhausted, 2) IPv6 offers much better privacy thanks to the client address rotation, 3) IPv6 greatly simplifies P2P, 4) slightly better performance & latency

Large business will always find a convincing reason - possibly true - for regulators to do what they want. It's everyone else whose - possibly conflicting - interests are *not* represented there, so they effectively lose by walkover.

The fact that this analysis was published by EFF clearly indicates who is at least trying to balance things and might deserve your support :)

@kaniini @feld

Bipartisan system is good at maintaining status quo. Status quo makes things stable and predictable, both good and bad. In any case what you should do personally is to engage in politics at any level available, because nobody else will do it for you.

"In fact, the British were locking themselves down days before the government finally accepted the realities of the pandemic. We did so because one aspect of human behaviour remains predictable: we don’t want to die."

Making electricity is dangerous. Nuclear is the safest method as per kW energy produced.

@drq

But you have the "Wait transcoding..." flag enabled? It will publish the video automatically after it's converted. On some Peertube instances this takes many hours.

@Wetrix

I wouldn't be surprised if she gets some financial support from North Korea as she has been doing it consistently since at least 2012. As such, she's obviously useful living in US rather than in NK 🤷‍♂️

Why 3'000'000 US households need to rely on low-speed DSL instead of fiber? Because the ISP that hold practical monopoly over them would earn *too little.*

Same story in the UK, by the way.

Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan evacuate 70k people after a hydro dam broke... but nobody will make news of it since it's not

Plus, significant part of European far right and far left genuinely sees Kremlin as their ally. Idiots from far right believe in the fable about Kremlin being "the last bastion of Christianity" while idiots from far left believe in the fable about Kremlin still representing the good old Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and viable alternative to the "imperialist America".

Fortunately, at least some of the latter group of idiots switched to China...

@thor @feld

This is simple business - Germany is making so much money on trading Russian gas and oil, that it cannot afford harder approach.

There was a lot of bad blood about Nord Stream essentially working around all the EU join energy policy and Germany essentially said "it's just a business project for us".

I'd love to see e.g. Poland starting a tender for a nuclear power plant by Rosatom at that moment and say "just business" when Germany freaks out - and they would, it's NUCLEAR!!! 😂
