@selea Should have connected that to a laptop text-to-speeching Marx's "Capital" at 0.5x speed or something equally party-able! 😂

@anornymorse

If you're trying to advocate for microkernels then well, both kTLS and IPSec are already available as modules

@anornymorse

I don't think any extra randomness source can weaken anything, it's not like entropy pools work. BTW kernel already has plenty of crypto code eg for IPSec, secure boot etc

@abliss
It was OpenSSL, an implementation developed since 90's with lots of legacy baggage. I think kTLS could have been implemented in a flawless way.

Очень интересная статья. Правда, живя в Англии где большинство домов имеет энергетическую эффективность на уровне палатки, я не могу не поддерживать призывы к её повышению :)

Very good. Down with Docker! 😁

You might consider Firejail, as plain chroot is quite weak in terms of isolation.

@dankwraith

Better say US life expectancy fell below Cuba even (and any other high-income country). Not that the latter is very trustworthy either.

@ZenCoder That would mean feeding two memory hogs :) I switched to Firefox years ago completely and don't regret. Brave, Iridium or Vivaldi are another options if you need Chrome UI specifically.

These candles don't (and probably shouldn't) exist.

I trained the neural net GPT-2 on just 72 descriptions of scented candles collected by Amy Pollien The neural net relied on its general internet training for the rest.

A very good intro not only into the Colonies but also generally into the Ethereum ecosystem and economy.

Colony is an Ethereum application/system to manage distributed organisations and collectives.

One reason to use up-to-date kernels on your production servers is that they can do things faster. Linux 4.13+ has kTLS or kernel-level (!) TLS stack.

@Doudouosm

I do for years now and I love it. I'm also giving a try to Qwant now, which seems to be slightly better for "general" topics which DDG is unbeatable at programming-related searchs. Both search engines support bang-expressions (!g to search on Google etc) so easy to jump from one to another if results are unsatisfactory.
