With tons of #Arduino libraries written in rush and without security in mind, we're now back to 90's with all the old nice C exploits like format strings, buffer overruns etc...
This is from Webduino, an Arduino webserver, as posted by isis agora lovecruft on Twitter, with at least a few potential buffer overflows
Seems like latest KeePassXS supports for Freedesktop Secret Service, which is a nice and standard way of storing and sharing passwords between apps within a Linux system

Russia can't really "get involved" with anyone as it has no economy to sustain any serious conflict. Putin has backed off when Erdogan shot down its Su-24 in 2015, and when USA decimated Russian soldiers in 2018. Unfortunately, this is the only language he understands.
That's a simple carrot and stick tactics. Russia has been bombing civilians to push them towards EU and saying "hey, just let us in and we'll bring order".
Rather than dealing with the source of the problem - being Assad and Putin - EU just paid Erdogan to keep the refugees in Turkey.
But this only encouraged these two to go even further, which is probably why Turkey started the offensive and opened the borders to let EU deal with the problem it's partially responsible for.
I'm pretty sure they once had a problem with characters in filenames breaking URLs or XSS, and someone came up with this brilliant idea "let's just encode them with Base64"!
That's quite frequently employed by webmasters who never heard about a concept of "unique identifier" :)
And it really was a self-created problem from the very beginning.
For the last 5 years Russia and Assad were bombing hospitals and refugee camps, and EU just looked and issued silly "oh, could be this the last time you did this" notes.
Mostly because Germany wants to resell Russian gas and oil in EU, and any regime change in Syria could result in a competing pipeline being created.
@Wetrix It's just 0.6% of EU population so *if* the member states acted together it can be easily absorbed.
Looking however example of my home country of Poland who essentially went into a full hysteric spin about it a few years ago, I have a feeling any problems will be entirely self-created.
@Wetrix
OK, so I'll just stick to not watching it ;)
@Wetrix
Flu is well known and seasonal. Covid-19 seems to be way more infectious and more deadly so if it spreads, it has potential to kill way more than flu, so it deserves some attention. I don't usually watch any media so can't say if they indeed blow it out of proportion :)
@Wetrix
Flu mortality rate is 0.1%, coronavirus is 2.3% so it's 23x more deadly.

You can actually model a virus infection in Netlogo, playing with parameters such as mortality and infectiousness
@Wetrix
I read sales of Corona in the US declined because of the association with the virus :)
@Wetrix
Maybe there's life on Earth after coronavirus LOL!

Not yet but I have it on my reading list after an enthusiastic recommendation by a friend
