So frustrated with XR I could bash my head off a brick wall. Idiots with no strategy blocking a tube station in a poorer area of East London fucking up everything they achieved within the past week.

So startpage is now owned by an advertising company.

Being a former startpage user I'm now considering changing to jivesearch (its on PTio) however I currently can't connect, tell me if you have the same issues.

Anyway I will try to keep you posted on this (sorry I'm 2 days late).

I guess with *two* contacts on BriarApp who are not my other test phones I can now IM like a pro :)

@CyberSocialist What you described also perfectly matches the description of "nomenclature" in Soviet and other non-capitalist countries.

Homo sapiens unfortunately has this tendency to create privileged castes.

It's a pathology just as well in capitalist and socialist system, but it's buried in human nature.

What prevents it is institutions such as independent media and judiciary, law enforcement and public transparency.

Also there's plenty of simply false arguments that are circulated among climate change skeptics.

For example the popular "volcanoes emit more COβ‚‚ than humans" argument that nobody on the skeptical side cares to verify.

All world's volcanoes emit 0.3 billions of tons of COβ‚‚ per year.

At the same tim humans emit 30-60 billions of tons of COβ‚‚ per year.

@CyberSocialist

@Wetrix Equally there's vast amount of reliable research showing that anthropogenically produced CO2 has been contributing to that process on very significant scale.

Probably the most direct one is air concentration of carbon isotope 12C (fossil) as compared to isotopes 13C, 14C and 18C which are part of the natural COβ‚‚ cycle.

This essentially means burnt fossil fuels are flooding the atmosphere with COβ‚‚ that was long buried underground.

Well, there are actually vast amounts of reliable research showing that both climate is warming on unprecedented scale (last time a million years ago). This nice stripes diagram shows avg temperature growth since 19th century to now

And non-capitalist countries were running their industry on... what exactly? USSR, Venezuela, North Korea? On pranic energy?

"In Brazil, forest fires rage across the Amazon, burning vast swathes of the rainforest, presided over by a leader who believes climate change is a β€œMarxist plot.” In America, health-related misinformation has become an epidemic of its own. And in Europe, country after country is losing their hard-earned measles-free status as the anti-vax movement becomes more potent by the day"

"Flu kills an average of 8,000 people in England every year and can be particularly serious in very young children, pregnant women, adults aged 65 and over and those with health problems because they tend to have weaker immune systems. For the first time, all children will be given a nasal spray in primary schools, which will help them immunise against the four virus strains contained in the vaccine."

Per gsmmap.org/ it seems like the easiest operator to intercept is MTS. The most advanced in terms of security safeguards was Tele2... until around 2015 when they actually started weakening them. Full report here gsmmap.org/assets/pdfs/gsmmap.

Oh, this one is nice -

CVE-2019-14287: "Sudo could be made to run commands as root if it called with a specially crafted user ID"

@1w4kvra He is not really very bright. He just has a dozen of bright responses he memorized by heart over the last 40 years and uses them all the time. If you watch enought JKM (and I did, I liked him like 20 years ago), you know precisely which logical fallacy he's going to use in the next minute.

@1w4kvra But then it's quite stupid to go to church and declare aloud "and we forgive our brothers" while at the same time thinking of killing your neighbour or boss or guy from another village :) The whole point of religion is spiritual.

@1w4kvra His whole entourage in Poland are folks who either praise Putin or make selfies on Red Square with SVR officers. It's likely that his handlers in Moscow sell slightly different picture of JKM on the internal audience in Russia.
