Sri Lanka hired organic & natural advisors such as Vandana Shiva to reform its agricultural sector... and ended up banning "chemical fertilisers" and pesticides.
As result, it saw a tragically low harvest which results in food shortages and threatens whole branches of Sri Lankan industry.
Protests of farming and scientific community who predicted this failure were ignored.
