German "climate activist" gives a real feel of a messianic cult that #Energiewende has become:

You are *not* "saving the world", Louisa. Germany's CO2 emissions per kWh are as usual 5x higher than those of France, and Germany still plans to shut down 8GW of #nuclear power 🤦♂️
@guenther Thanks, I don't understand what she was talking - just referring to the comment she made in header.
@kravietz She's referencing a common right-wing talking point that goes like "Germany is such a small country, any measures we take will just destroy our own economy without having an impact on the climate". She is not suggesting that we are saving the world.
