Note the root cause here: basically, a whole family performs suicide by voluntary asphyxiation, on top of that holy water (!), and there's not a single person who would say "hey, open the door".
This indicates a dramatic gap in basic civilisation acumen - I can't even imagine anyone in the most disadvantaged community in UK or EU doing the same thing.
That's the same caliber of stories that we read during Trump about people literally drinking bleach etc.
