Been there for the last 5 years or so, and twice. Never leave anything related to the spine to heal itself. If you feel pain, most likely the disc is exerting pressure on the nerves which may lead to inflammation and damage them in long term. In most cases at early stage physiotherapy and exercise will solve the problem for long, but you want to be on the safe side.
@dajbelshaw In both cases this was my own stupidity so nothing to be sorry about 😂 When you're tall you need to be extra careful about your back...
@kravietz @dajbelshaw I had to deal with this about five years ago. Chiropractor helped me stand up straight, but then my foot started hurting. That was the disc pressing on my sciatic nerve, which had to be removed with surgery.
@IslandUsurper @kravietz Whoah, glad mine isn't that bad 😬
@dajbelshaw @kravietz, the funny thing is that there were signs the disc had been bulging for a long time. I just didn’t know why my foot would hurt at random times. But then it’d go away and I’d forget about it. Sounds like you’re getting yours taken care of, so it won’t get that bad.
@IslandUsurper @kravietz Ouch. Yeah, mines more 'inconvenient' I'd say
@kravietz Thank you! Sorry to hear you've experienced this twice - I better get to the doctor
