With this 70 GW nuclear power in China their annual lifecycle CO2 emissions will be around 2 million tons, as compared to 226 million tons if they went for fossil gas or 408 million tons if coal. Comes out, reduces their impact 100-200x times.

In case of PV and wind production, this would be respectively 11 and 5 million tons of CO2 respectively, when compensated for low capacity factor by adding extra nominal power, but ignoring additional storage which would also result in CO2 emissions.
