This is typical for Eastern Europe - Poland, Ukraine, Russia, anywhere I usually travel Internet is dirt cheap, both broadband and mobile, and very good LTE coverage. UK sucks in this aspect, it's very expensive and often crap quality.

Same applies to Internet banking by the way.
