My current concern:
People that used to be on Parler are now moving to Signal (and alternatives) for secure chat.
-Signal uses AWS for their infrastructure.
-Signal can not censor or moderate content.
Does it mean it runs the risk of getting booted as well? If not, why not?
@dcid I think we should start to see modified signal apps which allow custom served, considering its open source

Signal in theory has a reproducible build per https://signal.org/blog/reproducible-android/ so it should be always possible if the APK you get from Google Play Store is the same as one built from the published source code. Obviously, a target of a tailored operation will rarely verify that ๐
