@michiel Poland made significant effort since 2000 to diversify its fossil gas supplies (as probably any other country in the EU) but it's energy sector is hopelessly reliant on coal... which is also largely imported from Russia. There are plans to build a large off-shore wind farm on Baltic and a nuclear power plant by 2030 but the specific of Poland is that strategic plans are never actually carried out :)
