"there still is an issue with sentiments"

The less you have, the more motivation you have to improve your well-being 🤷♂️ The pattern you describe in regard to Poles in UK is repeated 100% in Poland by immigrants from Ukraine for example. And everyone benefits from that!

only "anti-Slavic" sentiments I've seen here in UK is envy/anger because folk from Eastern Europe work hard in either skilled trades, tech and healthcare and often do jobs that others don't want to do because they are "difficult/boring/too nerdy" (in previous years the same happened with migrants and their British born offspring from the Commonwealth countries)
