This only demonstrates how silly today is the left vs right dichotomy. Franco regime in Spain was clearly conservative and authoritarian but German national socialism ("Nazism") had both conservative and socialist postulates in its program ("25 NSDAP postulates"), and USSR was clearly socialist, with all three being hell of a totalitarian oppression.
