And you're absolutely right that fossil fuel companies did sponsor environmental NGOs to raise anti-nuclear arguments. This is documented in case of Friends of the Earth, Sierra Club, Environmental Defense Fund, Natural Resources Defense Council. Greenpeace does not reveal their funding.
