yes, there is always a powerpoint. Or a video.

Now, this is they way people abuse statistics. Sure, it’s easy. 96% of nuclear fuel. 96% of what? Of how much? Of fuel. Ok, but how much fuel? 96% . Ok, 96% of what amount? Of fuel. Yeah, sure.

This video is telling me that 96% of some unspecified amount of some anonymous nuclear fuel , is recycled (which is not recycled because is still fuel BTW) so basically is not being recycled but they call recycle the second phase of combustion, and the 4% of some unspecified amount of some unspecified radioactive material must be kept in some facility. For ā€œjustā€ 300 years, which is a disaster made cool. We complain for plastic disappearing in 100 years, and we do waste which needs 300.

YAY! Lesson learnt , isn’t it?

This video is what our fathers did already with plastic. Well, actually 100% of plastic is disposed somewhere, and it will go in 100 years. In 50 years 60% of plastic disappears. Sure. 60% of what amount? ā€œOf plasticā€.

Which is less than 300 years of this video, right? Who cares? Maybe the next generation will realize they have too many of them, and when they are too many is hard to grant safety, but who cares, we kicked the can to the next crisis.

Our grandfathers did the same. Plastic was depleted in ā€œjustā€ 100 years. Future generations will have the issue, very far in time. 100 years.

Welcome to the future of plastic. Which is now. here we have a plastic issue on the oceans, because of 60% of <100 years-old plastic.

And now you plan to do the same with future generations: come on, is just 300 years. Is just 4% of unspecified amount of not well described nuclear waste. Perhaps, those barrel are white . White, you now. How something white could destroy a whole region if any incident? It’s white.

I still smell propaganda, and I see errors from the past are not learnt.

TO PREPARE THE NEXT CRISIS IS NOT A WAY TO SOLVE A CURRENT ISSUE.

If you have an issue with CO2, you fix the issue of CO2. Moving the issue of CO2 to the issue of nuclear waste is not ā€œa solutionā€, is just ā€œkicking the can aheadā€. Which is what our fathers did, and we should have learnt to avoid.

Whatever far the next crisis seems to be, some of our offspring will face it. Yes, in 300 years.

(then you will explain me how they tested the 300 years : the same way they tested 100 years plastic?)

What you are doing is to solve the CO2 crisis creating a future ā€œ4% of something radioactive crisisā€

Same error we did already in the past.

And we don’t learn. Maybe we should ban old people from voting? I see they keep doing the same mistake again and again.

Do you realize that just as we speak, millions of tons of toxic waste containing mercury, arsenic and cyanide are being taken to underground storage in Herfa-Neurode and Zielitz in Germany? Have you seen any Greenpeace protesting? Have you ever even heard about it?
