I see you have at minimum two systems going ... do you use any software to share keyboard mouse and clipboard (copy/paste) between multiple systems?
If so please tell me I haven't programmed in years, and what I used to use quit working.
There's a Linux server under the table connected to the big screen with logs etc. Then there's my old Linux laptop (silver Asus) and new one (black Dell). No keyboard/mouse sharing because I'm accessing all of these over SSH or file sharing. The old laptop is currently uploading all data to Nextcloud, from where it's synced to the new one.

@kravietz foam cases are empty mailers ... you need something like that to survive FedEx .... most of the drives are 500 GB or smaller SATA from PC's I threw out for being too old.
@kravietz desktop is running mint linux and is hooked up to a monitor in landscape one in portrait and via hdmi to a 5.1 home theater system in my living room connected to a 55" TV. I use a wireless thumball mouth and a kenisis keyboard to avoid wrist strain ... haven't coded in 5 years though.
