@danie10 I have tons of friends on WhatsApp and Telegram but don't want to use either, so I've set up my own Matrix.org server and bridged both apps through Matrix. Works like a charm!

Sure, here's the module for Synapse (the most popular Matrix server currently) github.com/tulir/mautrix-whats

It may look a bit complicated on the first look because you need to run Synapse too, but it's really quite simple

Thank you! I will try it out. I set up matrix with synapse a while ago. Wanted to replace Slack for communication at my company. But it's not so easy to argue against old habits.
