So far, my experience connecting to a Wireguard
#IPv6 VPN from my laptop, is that
#Wireguard is awesome and just works, but having both an IPv4 and an IPv6 address as a casual user just exposes me to a bunch of extra faff.
Endless captchas from Google / Youtube, services which flake out and don't work...
Turning on IPv6 made everything worse. Adding more complexity and more failure modes tends to do that.
I'm going to persist a lil' bit longer, just to learn about the limitations, but this isn't exactly turning me into an advocate. ๐
Sysadmins overprotecting things is one of the more common failure modes of the Internet.
The fact that the failure is man made and somewhat deliberate doesn't make it any less annoying and doesn't change my overall analysis.
