@jj @kot I've never used NordVPN but if they have a client installed on your computer they can essentially inject any traffic originating from your IP

@kravietz @jj @kot Likewise. I've never used NordVPN, either. Since a user would likely give their app a lot of privileges and access to interfaces, I can see how they could try that. That's why I keep an always-visible data I/O monitor on my task bar or status bar. If it's active for no good reason, I want to know why. And thanks for the heads up about Nord and Proton. Mullvad FTW, I guess.

I use to send envelopes with cash to their address. Truly anonymous payments 😁 they've never not activated my profile. Also their reputation is great and they take lengths to defend their own opsec and computer integrity. I like them a lot.
