@c It took me by surprise, certainly. Not something you'd normally see on a Foss project from my experience... Unfortunately with that quick deletion of the forum topic I suspect they aren't interested in providing any rationale or backstory on why they chose it.

#Whonix - a free open source operating system designed for security and to protect user privacy, has decided to add #gab to their official social media. I came across this yesterday from a post on their forums asking about it. That post seems to have been quickly deleted without a reply.

The project is built on #Debian and is well integrated into #Qubes, working with #virtualbox and #kvm on other host OS. It has been one of my preferred ways to use the #tor network over the past few years.

I've followed Ray Dalio's (founder, Bridgewater hedge fund) opinions on the #economy for a few years now. His new opinion piece made the rounds on our #collapse discord, and I thought it was on point!

@atticus meanwhile the 15" (17" OEM size) winter tires and wheels for our Bolt EV cost $53/wheel for a new steel wheel and $83 for each Michelin winter tire. $26 for each new OEM tire pressure monitor. A whole set of 4 very pothole resistant wheels, tires and sensors for less than the price of a single Tesla wheel... wow! #differentpriorities
