I don't understand why recruiters brag about things like "In the past year we've doubled our headcount!". Sure, as a recruiter you're probably proud of the job you've done in filling those seats. Great job. But when trying to attract new candidates why would you want to make them feel like nothing more than a number in your growth trajectory? I'd much rather hear "we're hiring one person this year, and we want that person to be you".
