Lately I've been feeling the urge to learn more about computer basics: building one, trying to make Linux work, etc. Maybe I should pick up a raspberry pi and just start noodling. 🤔

@helveticablanc another option is to install VirtualBox and then run Linux virtually to start learning it. One neat feature of that is that you can also use snapshots to snap the state of your virtual machine before you try out something which might break something else. I use snapshots a lot for testing new things on different versions of Linux, but it's fine for running a version of Linux full screen on top of Windows or MacOS.
