@eleix very strange, are you checking the logs with `journalctl -xf -u mastodon-*` when it's happening? Not sure why that would be happening or what else to look into 🤷

@eleix do you have enough disk space? are you running in Docker or no?

@michel_slm @privacytools @BurungHantu for sure, but with Android alternatives the only company you’re really trying to escape is Google and that’s impossible with a stock configuration. This is the reason I don’t recommend Android phones at all and tell anyone who doesn’t have the ability to flash a custom ROM to buy an iPhone.

@michel_slm @privacytools @BurungHantu I’d strongly discourage using stock Android in the first place and using one of our ROM recommendations instead (GrapheneOS, LineageOS etc), which will replace all those defaults anyhow.

@dansup well like I said, everything seems to work after manually resending the validation email and signing in again. It just seems like unexpected behavior for new registrations.

@dansup quick question, any reason I'd get an error immediately after registration on my instance? (After navigating to another page and resending the email I'll get it and it works fine, but the verification email isn't immediately sent)
