boost this to get it to people that don't know for some reason.

@marc0janssen interesting. Not sure, I’m on Toot! and it’s working, but I did log out. Let me know if that helps at all.

@marc0janssen hmm. Not sure, hasn’t happened to me so far. What client? Did you try logging out and logging back in?

@one honestly not completely sure why they didn’t work in the first place, because web notifications were still working so mobile notifications should’ve worked. I ended up just resetting the VAPID keys which is why web notifications might’ve stopped working/been reset but that did the trick 🤷‍♂️

@marc0janssen ha interesting, I didn’t get that. Glad it’s working now, weird issue.

Hey everyone! I think I fixed an issue affecting notifications on mobile clients, sorry it took so long..... If they still don't work for you, please sign out and sign back in, and if they still don't after that let me know.

This may(?) have also broken web notifications for you. If you're not getting notifications in your browser anymore please refresh or log out and log back in and that should fix everything 😄

@Rediikid why do you need a VPN? Have you considered just using Tor instead?

@danarel well even if you don't you can always setup mirror repositories! Good to have a backup plan 😃

Ive just published my next blog in the Slicing onion series. This one is about how Tor relates to vpns and other tech. And its called: Onion recipes; VPN not required.

I hope you all enjoy it, and be sure to give feedback if you have any :)

@glitcher32 you could rent a VPS and not have to worry about arbitrary bandwidth/storage/whatever limitations.

If anyone is looking for a place to host their Git repositories or mirror any GitHub/GitLab projects, git.privacytools.io/ is now open for registrations! 😄

If any instance admins know how to get "federation with hidden services" up and working uh... don't hesitate to tell me how to do that myself 😅

@WorldWideWebWizard Apple doesn't create the laws. Jailbreaking is perfectly legal regardless of what articles may claim...
