rant about firefox
*sighs*
Folks, the thing that happened with Firefox was an accident. It was not part of some sinister plot. If you think it is, it's because you have no idea how complicated providing a browser and all its security features are.
Climb back from that ledge. Next you're going to talk about chemtrails and flat Earth.

Tor on privacytools.io https://write.privacytools.io/jonah/tor-on-privacytools-io
@jj probably. for now we just have the homepage setup. eventually we'll have all(?) the other services protected by Tor with the new alt-svc setup Cloudflare is primarily working on, but I'm waiting for https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/27590 to be resolved.
www.privacytools.io is on Tor! http://privacy2zbidut4m4jyj3ksdqidzkw3uoip2vhvhbvwxbqux5xy5obyd.onion/index.html -- pretty neat right?
@Ceilingfan I'll wait to judge it until it releases and has been in-use for a couple months, but it seems... unnecessary I guess, reskinning FOSS projects and passing them off as new things.

I have noticed that I have less followers in Mastodon than Twitter, yet people interact with me and my posts much more often on Mastodon. If you're reading this from Twitter... Come join me on https://social.privacytools.io!
@marc0janssen I use it with Mail.app on macOS but I don’t think I’ve ever sent an encrypted message since I don’t know anyone else with keys, pretty useless. I just sign everything by default and that’s about it.
@socialprivacy the mod of /r/privacy locked your post because you aren't being constructive, and this isn't helping your case.
Stop spamming my Mastodon instance, thanks. If you have a problem you can PM me directly instead of spreading misinformation.
#PrivacyTools Administrator, #OpenNIC Operator, macOS and Linux user, maybe some other stuff too?
