2nd question: When crossing borders between countries, one can be forced to open your phone, etc. But having touchID or faceID disabled can make it harder for "them" to get into your phone without your password. If one carries Yubikeys across a border, does that make your phone less safe? Does it make your online accounts that are 2FA less safe even if your passwords are not on the phone? Any thoughts about how Yubikeys might make one's online security in jeaporady when crossing borders? Thx

@mastodon39882 This all really depends on your setup. The thing about Yubikeys is that they theoretically can't be duplicated, so as long as you get them back it's unlikely they can be used against you.

Unlike say your phone which is encrypted, but they can make an entire copy of the encrypted phone and brute-force that copy for your information for years after the fact if they wanted.
