@danarel ah well. Some aspects of Matrix are concerning, but it still doesn't seem like there's a great alternative for large public chats 😕
@nikolal yeah but I'm not 100% on-board with centralized services like Keybase (or Wire), especially centralized services with closed-source servers, even though it does have good End-to-End Encryption.

@jonah Yeah, I closed all my accounts with them for now. I don't really use it anyway, and with all the Riot issues, I just decided to drop it.
