Is pansexual just the pretentious version of bisexual (what I assumed) or do people prefer that term unironically?
@raydiator which one, bi? See because to me it just sounds like someone just took the meaning of the prefix bi- a bit too seriously and wanted to make a big deal about it so they made up pan just to sound more “correct” somehow but maybe I’m wrong idk!
@jonah oh no, I was talking about pan, haha. bi means sexual and/or romantic attraction to people of both the same gender and other genders, there's no need for pan imo!

@jonah The main difference is that pansexual is more fluid, they don't care what your gender is or what you identify as because what's on the "inside" is more important. Bisexuals strictly like male and female. At least, that is how I would describe it.
@jonah from my understanding (which may be wrong), its roots are in transphobia and it actually comes from yahoo answers of all places, lol
