I figure everyone on this site - besides myself - knows way more about privatizing their web presence than me.
My goal here is to find a virtual partner who will remotely use their skills to render me invisible to these SOBs.

just wanted to thank you for trying to help, but I gotta bail. All this is Greek to me - may as well be on Mars. Changeling;s Guide is inaccessible to me, apparently. s/he appears to have gone out of business. I couldn't even figure out how to post on Riot ;)
It was a bold move for me, but sans a road map, a civilian just goes in endless circles searching in vain for a way forward.

@jonah @nigelisok I think he got that error "too may requests," while signing up with Riot. Another user complained on Mastodon, too.
