I’m in the market for a new laptop. Looking for suggestions on a Linux based one. I saw System 76 and Purism among others but wanted to know what others around here have?
Doesn’t have to be a high end gaming rig, but still decent so I don’t have to upgrade in a year.

I wanted to buy some Cardano because it’s based on proof-of-stake and environmentally friendly, only to realize my Trezor One doesn’t support it; however the Model T does.
Now I have to decide to get another one and it’s not super cheap either. It’d be nice to store Monero as well…dang it, I’m probably buying it.
It’s it possible to like / comment peertube vids on your phone without having to log into the website?

The profile notes feature on Mastodon is very useful but also perhaps slightly unclear if you've never used it before.
It works like this:
Go to a person's profile by clicking on their name, look for the "Note" section and then click on "Click to add note", start typing and it saves it automatically. The note is only visible to you.
This is really handy if you interact with lots of people and need to remember (for example) why you follow someone etc.

Command line fans!
You can access Mastodon through a command line interface using the "toot" client on your computer (at https://toot.readthedocs.io/en/latest). It's currently available for Linux and BSD.
(Note that this "toot" app is nothing to do with the "Toot!" app for iPhones. They are both used to access Mastodon, and their names are similar, but they have nothing else in common.)
