@Wetrix I'm tempted to run my own 😂 It would suit my standalone Matrix instance very well. I just need some time to choose platform and implement it.

@Wetrix Anywhere people will move, this will result in reducing load on privacytools.io and increasing load on the other platform 🤷 That's why I think firing up new instances in the only way to go.
@kravietz well I read that someone here is basically making a new privacy fed? Can't remember where exactly but it's somewhere in my feed.
@Wetrix You mean a new fediverse or new instance of the existing fediverse? The former would be a very bad idea. The latter very good. I'd certainly join a new instance managed by someone trusted in the community *and* who could receive donations on periodic basis to keep the thing running.
@Wetrix I wasn't aware of it, but I don't believe in anyone being obliged to "take seriously" whatever they started doing as a free contribution to the community. Either community takes over, or community donates, or good bye. Otherwise that would be equivalent to slavery.
@kravietz I hope the instance survives.
