@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat no worries and thanks. I was just digging into this and confirmed what you said above. Didn’t know there was an incognito keyboard TBH
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat i can find it with Swift key but not a default Apple keyboard.
@gritnot No, it's not a setting within the keyboard, its a setting in certain apps that allows you to query the Apple keyboard to use an "incognito mode", or essentially just a mode that doesn't track and send back everything you type.
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat ohh interesting. I’ll look for that
@gritnot right now I'm using SwiftKey and the apple keyboard. 🍎⌨️
I haven't found a better one yet unfortunately.
@gritnot I'm aware that this question is meant to be directed towards Wetrix, that said, you shouldn't really use any third party keyboards. You're already "trusting" Apple with all of your data, including your keyboard typing information even if you use a third party app, so all it does is unnecessarily place extra trust in a third party. Best case, just use the stock Apple keyboard and enable apps to request "Incognito Keyboard" whenever possible, which just asks it not to collect anything.
