It's a shame that this is threatening the lively hoods of farmers, and there are people out there who truly care about the animals they are raising for food. But they are still living beings and its just cruel.
I'm not a full blown vegan by any means. We keep bees, and chickens (for eggs) but I know they lead happy healthy lives.
