But isn't Signal based in the USA to? So why is Wire losing all of its trust? (Besides its metadata collection)

Trying to trust and stay loyal with @Tutanota , but im not sure how long I can hold on.

But im sure as hell not going to ProtonMail.

Pluto TV is quite amazing tbh, but 'free' sure does come with a price if you know what I mean.

Telegram has so much potential, to bad they arn't as privacy friendly.

@AQ4M40_8X_3K No, I wouldn't trust them at all. Try to avoid any cloud storage. Keep your files with you.

Degoo is fairly popular (only because they love to shove their 'free' 100GB everywhere). Their app contains many trackers and who knows what else they hide.

As much as I hate Chromium browsers, Bromite has some potential.

The only reason I won't use it is because you can't add extensions.

@HilbertB duck.com would just be much more time saving for people to get to and stuff. My website already uses DuckDuckGo and stuff, but the quick domain redirect they have is a good start to something great.

duck.com would be pretty useful if it didn't have this pointless popup every time you go to it.

I ran into quite a serious issue with NetGuard. While I was in a TeamViewer session, NetGuard lock-down was enabled and after a few seconds the TeamViewer session continued when it shouldn't of had any internet access whats so ever.

With this being said, I ran multiple tests and found that sometimes the internet will bleed threw even if NetGuard is on. Imagine what other privacy invasions could be happening from other applications if NetGuard isn't doing its job correctly.

I used my last bit of trust using a cloud storage and of course without any notice, Allsync had to go and trash everything.

All I am left with is this message after contacting support saying

"We will do our best to try to recover your data. An email will be sent soon we have more info."

The bad English makes me feel even more confident about them recovering my files.

I will definitely never be putting any trust in a cloud storage again.

@freddyym I've personally never trusted Brave, even when it used to be on PrivacyTools.io. I can only trust Firefox a little bit.

I wish there was a browser that just didn't track users period, by default. I don't understand why everyone needs to track eachother.

I'm really loving this simplewall software. No ads, no popups, no telling me to buy anything, just getting the job done blocking things from accessing the internet.

@Wetrix

"Hello,

Please update us if you don't have any backup of your files, we will try to recover, please note that is 100% sure we can recover your data."

Welp, the NextCloud provider I was using magically vanished and there goes all my files.

Allsync.............

v2.4 will hopefully be released today. There are still some things I have plan to add.

Does anyone know of a Windows alternative to NetGuard so I can completly disable internet access to things not being used?

I will be releasing v2.4 of my privacy guide (Android app) hopefully soon. I added so much more content to enjoy and plan to have more as always.
