Is the Fairphone 3 free from Google? I can't help but notice all the pictures of the phone with a Google app.

Literally not one picture showing the screen doesn't have some kind of Google service.

@MasTorDon Yea, thats why all the files need to be changed from HTTP to HTTPS to support full secure connection.

@MasTorDon It works on Standard to a little bit more, but my screen gets spammed with "Oops! An unexpected error occurred." notifications and things still arn't running very correctly.

social.privacytools.io seems to run fine with security level not being on standard so it can't be to impossible.

@MasTorDon Here is the developer console if this is useful for you.

Looks like the issue is because its HTTP, needs to be changed to HTTPS.

@MasTorDon Ive tried everything...

Refreshing, reloading Tor, and the website appears blank when I login.

@Wetrix Sleep great as always, ill be sure not to bother you will all the replies.

@kylejj I don't mind, it would just be a nice touch. Don't act like its not possible and "affordable" for companies to do some great things. There are so many chinese Android devices out there that look and run great that cost as much as $80.00 USD or less.

Many companies wanna just eat peoples money and get heavy profit engraving in peoples head that "you can't get anything nice for cheap".

Im not hating nor talking any shit on these privacy brands because I know one day they will improve. πŸ˜€

@kylejj I like phones that are big and look sexy, but the Librem and Pinephone isnt doing it for me.

I hope the Fairphone 3 (which comes tomorrow) looks better than the 2.

Not having a custom OS on my phone has been making me paronoid af.

Using NetGuard to block all internet traffic on the device and the system apps are going off the hook trying to access servers.

On top of that, the default device keyboard (Samsung) keeps setting itself back to default no matter how many times I change it. So im stuck with a spy keyboard.

I really need LineageOS or /e/OS or im gonna lose my mind, but my device isn't supported.

@kylejj Searx has never been to bad, but the layouts of all of them can be pretty bad.

@Wetrix You're better than that. You don't need any dating website, those places are the bigest scams ever. Ive also noticed you've somehow become the person I end up mostly talking to on here, buy anyways, id recommend avoiding dating websites and look somewhere else.

Think of a unique place to find someone, no need to do the same stuff everyone does and usually doesn't succeed in. Find someone loyal and honest. Loyalty is key. 😊

@Wetrix @volpit No no no no no no no, the website SwissCows blocks it for everyone. Its not a censorship issue for only me. Its just something on that website. They filter their searches because they want to and there is no way to turn it off since its built in.

I wonder if there ever will be a private internet provider out there, or just possible to get a secure internet connection anywhere without the need of some scam phone plan.

@volpit @Wetrix Another follow up, sorry for the spam.

These are the cons I found of it.

They will perform targeted surveillance on a person if they get a valid court order.

It also has a filtered search so I can't watch any damn porn without it stopping me from searching it saying "the entered word is not allowed for under 18 year olds, since we have decided on the protection of minors".

@volpit @Wetrix The one with the best privacy seems to be swisscows.com/

"We do not collect any of our visitors’ personal information. None whatsoever. When using Swisscows neither your IP address is recorded nor is the browser you are using (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) collected. No analyses are made, which operating system our users use (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.); your search are not recorded either."

Im a little sketched out by DuckDuckGo lately tbh. Now yes, clearly you could just use Tor + the DuckDuckGo onion link and be fine, but still, you can't trust anything these days.

@nikolal No, I was on Tor, not logged into any account. The YouTube website should do it for all visitors.
