@self I never understand how people who tout freedom for themselves can be okay with oppressing others to get it. Life isn’t a zero sum games and it irritates me to no end when people believe it is. On a personal, religious or ethnic level.

"punch up, not down or sideways" is a useful phrase in real life. People I use it with immediately understand what I mean because most people get the hierarchies we all work within, even of they don't think about them often
