Thinking that companies leaving when taxes are raised is a negative is nonsensical. If companies that don't want to pay their fair share leave, a business niche opens up for companies willing to pay taxes. All that happens is that you end up selecting for good behavior.

also that criticism is usually done in countries with extreme easiness for not pay taxes. At least in my country in latin america, what they gonna do?, go to Europe? probably even paying their fair share they still would have a pretty margin of profit. So all the threats of leaving probably are bluffs
