I am really interested to see how Zoom's announcement they won't offer E2EE to free users because they want to be able to work with the FBI, etc will affect Keybase which offers E2EE to all users.

If their new CEO wants to work with the feds, how can we trust them at all?

"why does every peaceful protest turn violent when the cops show up" is one of those questions where I am still stunned some people have trouble connecting the dots on the "when the cops show up" part

Don't.
Use.
#Zoom.
Just.
Don't.

“Free users for sure we don’t want to give that [end-to-end encryption] because we also want to work together with FBI, with local law enforcement in case some people use Zoom for a bad purpose” - Eric Yuan, CEO.

here's some pay-what-you-want drawings ready to be posted to whoever wants them.

minimum price is the post-tariff (around 1 dollar if you're in latin america, 2-3 dollars if you're anywhere else).

(se você estiver no brasil me avisa que eu calculo o valor aqui!)

the one to the right is claimed already and the middle one MIGHT be claimed, but if you want it i can put on in line in case the person gives up ;)

America. What the flying fuck is going on? I haven't the faintest fucking clue how to describe how infuriated the world is making me feel right now. Why are protestors being shot? Why are journalists being shot?

This is the most dystopian I've ever seen the world get. How the world pans out in the next few weeks is anyones guess...

You know what would be sweet is something like uses.tech/ but for people on FOSS & Linux.

It could show your distro of choice, DE, commonly used software, and additional FOSS system use like LineageOS or UBPorts on a phone.

The idea is to feature other awesome FOSS projects on our account. /sh
