Okay, the new #Funkwhale channels feature is freaking awesome. I think there's more work to be done to make this more compatible with the rest of the fediverse, but I think this is a very promising opportunity for musicians to share their original works within the network.

You know the modern web is broken when you visit a website and are greeted with this text:

"You need to enable JavaScript to run this app."

Since when is a website an "app" and why do we need JavaScript to display plain text? The web should be for everyone.

This Trump speech is I think his most authoritarian to date and that is saying something. It's terrifying. He just promised to deploy the US military to any city whose government does not deploy "overwhelming force" against their own citizens. Even as an empty threat it's terrifying
