I'm not an American, and I don't watch American news. However I saw this and I think that Trevor is speaking sense. He gets passionate, but, there is a time and place for passion and this is most certainly it.

almost done with the most basic (read: elegant, approachable) iteration of my website yet. here's a peek at some of the stuff i've worked on

still populating it with project images and deeper-layer pages, which will take a while, but jekyll is making this fairly easy

.monster is a hard domain to come by. Namecheap sells it but requires a full address and everything. I only really want to pay in however seeing as njal.la doesn't sell them, this might be hard.

Generally speaking I consider "smart lightbulbs" the most pointless thing ever, but hey, who am I to tell people that running a HA-K8s cluster in a datacenter just to turn your lights on and off might costs more energy than you safe when you turn off the LEDs on the go, if you forgot to turn them off.
