Ever since Kev made his announcement about #100DaysToOffload I haven't posted a new article. I do have some in the works, though I feel like I've neglected the challenge.

#mailvelope provides an easy-to-use interface to send PGP-encrypted emails with the email service you are familiar with. If secure IMs are not an option, this is the next best thing for less tech-savvy people.
I wrote a short introduction note.
Looking through some old GitHub issues, it appears that PrivacyTools operates a minecraft server?

Love the advice from Tim Soulo on Indie Hackers on "How to avoid Analytics Data Overload?"
Less is more. Truly understanding your audience is more important than any test you can do or hours you spend obsessing about collecting even more data about them.

PSA - Dear new users at mastodon.social
Imagine for a moment that your sight began to look blurry. You can't see things clearly and you need to go out to buy groceries or something.
You start walking and stumble into people. You get cursed at for not looking where you're going.
"Hey! Can't you see the sign? Can't you read? "
You stumble upon a crowd. "What's going on?"
"Can't you see?" you're asked rudely.
And nobody tells you what's actually going on.
They all expect you to see.
Well, that's what it feels like when reading Mastodon and there are no captions in your images.
Mastodon has an image captioning feature. If you can use it, please do for those of us who can't. š

To put the āif we have nothing to hide, they should know everything we doā into a more tangible perspective:
On a basic level, imagine if we automatically got a traffic ticket every time that we exceeded the speed limit, because of GPS tracking by police.
On a deeper level, imagine a place where it is illegal to be gay. Then after police read an unencrypted email between lovers, they & those that know are arrested.
#Privacy erosion is easily abused on levels from nuisance to human rights.
