Would you like to see #I2P being reintroduced to Tails?
issue tracker about it:
redmine.tails.boum.org/code/is

What is @i2p?
It "is an anonymous network layer that allows for censorship-resistant, peer to peer communication. Anonymous connections are achieved by encrypting the user's traffic, and sending it through a volunteer-run network... distributed around the world

Why was it removed from Tails?
"due to our failure of finding someone interested in
maintaining it in Tails"

Now this is a cool project for those who need a colour pallet.

I'm loving it so far!

People often ask how we make money, so…

When you use our private search engine, you sometimes get contextual ads based on a results page and not on any history/profile info (which we don’t have).

It's a myth that you cannot be profitable AND private.

Universities are afraid that students will cheat...
→ So, they're watching the students
→ So, the students are stressed from being watched

In the end, no one is satisfied. Surveillance is not the solution to all problems.

The webpage of #Tails is getting a new design.

Here's a first impression of something not finished, and still in the making. How do you like it?

This is quite possibly my favourite person to listen to during this crisis. He's a historian and philosopher who is actively spreading awareness of the threats of surveillance that could come long after the pandemic is over. He's also extremely positive in the way that he looks at the crisis saying that we are more prepared now than ever before.

What do Spotify, Venmo, Tinder, TikTok & DoorDash have in common?

Their apps all crashed last week because they send data to Facebook, and Facebook had a bug!

Since tracking code is in so many apps, we strongly recommend deleting apps you rarely use.

In response to the new changes to I've created a whole new blog! It's not that exciting, just a place for me to put shorter or less 'relevant' posts (basically a notes section).
