It's sadly ironic how many privacy-related articles are shared with tracking parameters added to the address. 😞

So here's a PSA to protect your friends & followers: When you share *any* links, please check for (& remove) text in the address that starts with ?utm_

Thank you. 🙂

🚗 I'm involved in organising a hackweek in April for trustroots.org - kind of an open source and free alternative to couchsurfing etc, that came out of the hitchwiki project (so lots of hitchhikers on it...).

👭 it kind of represents a bit of a reboot of the project, to get more active team again. and we're keen to make it more community-driven...

❓ feel free to ask me questions!

💻 you can register your interest here --> trustroots-hackathon.survey.fm

So what are we currently working on you ask? Well we have a few things you can look out for to roll out over the next months:

-redoing our jurisdiction page.
-giving all our service pages a proper criteria list so you can see why they are listed.
-rolling out our mediawiki page which will include a glossary to explain all technical terms on the main site.

Very excited to make these things happen soon :)
