A for-profit company just bought the .ORG registry, shortly after ICANN removed price caps on .org domains. So... that’s just fantastic.

If anyone owns a .org domain I’d probably extend that registration out to the max 10 years before those prices jump. https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/11/20/org_registry_sale_shambles/
