Hmm... although I wrote a day 011 post for #100DaysToOffload, I don't think I published it here? Well, today you get two for the price of one. 🙂
Day 011, I explore 'The Cloud of Unknowing.'
@rw I really don't know who reads my articles. I share them on reddit and on some other sites (including here), and the views go up. But, it's just a number. What actually constitutes a view?
I'm very happy that people read my work, I appreciate comments even more.
I've only discovered your articles today, and I have enjoyed them thus far.
@rw its often the case when I try posting my content to a new platform, I get very little engagement. I posted one of my articles to HackerNews and I got one upvote. Someone else posted it and it got to the front page. I don't make any money from my writing (which I luckily don't have to).
I try to write to provide (hopefully) interesting content to others. I enjoy writing, and if others enjoy reading it then I think I've done my job well.
1/2
@rw I feel very lucky with how well some of my work has done. I had no idea that 11 thousand people would read my article on "why privacy matters". It has done better than any expectations that I had.
Thanks for the comment about my articles. Engagement is better than any number of views!
